No, you won’t find any revelatory journal here, no daily frustrations shared with the world, no comments that will improve society. But what then? Photographs. Nothing but photographs. Disappointed? Well, yeah, I can follow that, but I’m sure the Net will provide plenty to console the loss. Yet for those of you who are still around, I will be sharing some of my photos made during my wanderings, as always linked to ballet and music. Not to worry, no ballet (that can be found aplenty here: For Ballet Lovers Only), just buildings, interiors, landscapes, flowers, birds, anything actually that comes in front of the camera and looks worth it. Add to that a bit of history and you’ll get the picture of this blog.
Travelling with the camera has become something of a ritual. It could be seen as the camera travelling with me, but I prefer to think of it the other way. I’m still pushing the button. Just check out the Pages on the right. Plenty of experimenting, trial and error here too – the world of digital photography is full of wonders – so bear with me. Recently a friend of mine asked why I take all these pics and spend so much time processing them? Basically, I find taking them is a lot of fun – finding the right angle, or the unusual angle, as well as editing them.
